I first began my digital media experience in 2005 when I was hired to work for DyeStat. While there, I helped launch what is now seen as an industry-leading edge in video production. As well, I learned to not only code websites, but to also work with various image assets and how they can be applied to help promote the brand effectively.

In 2007, I began helping various running events around the country succeed in their marketing and promotional needs. One such company was Pacers Events, where I assisted in everything from web design, to social media promotions, and announcing at the events themselves.

Then in 2011, after working as hired contractor for the Boston Athletic Association (organizer of the Boston Marathon) for 4 years, I was hired full-time as the Communications Manager. While there, I was able to develop a strong digital media voice for the organization, as well as assist internally with digital asset needs. I also helped launch what was unofficially known as “Unicorn TV”, which showcased B.A.A. events.

In addition to developing the digital media needs of the B.A.A., I also assisted at multiple events with announcing and special presentations. This included being the lead announcer for the Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Invitational, as well as the annually held B.A.A. 5K. I also produced and directed the B.A.A. Invitational Mile and 1000 Meter Championships, which is held the weekend of the Boston Marathon.

Eventually, I moved into a roll as the B.A.A.’s Digital Media Manager. This included developing year-round social media strategies, working on video productions to help promote and highlight B.A.A. events, assist employees with their digital production and marketing needs, as well as managing the main website for the organization.

In 2020, I decided go back to a career as an independent contractor, giving me the freedom to pursue a dream of enhanced event promotions and marketing. This now gives me the freedom to pursue the individual needs of events around the country, all the while giving me the freedom to further my career as an event announcer.
